Through the Asanas (postures) you can control the physical pain; through Pranayama (breathing) emotional suffering and through meditation  can reach true understanding of one's own.


Yoga is a State that is only achieved through direct experience.


It is a way valid to strengthen the mind and lead it easily towards concentration, to relax, to preserve the physical and mental health, prevent and even cure disease.
